There will be a class for those that want to be baptized on Sunday morning, October 9th at 10am in the Arise class room. If you are interested in being baptized we would love for you to join us! You can sign up below.

Baptism is a public celebration of moving from death to life through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that baptism is one of the most powerful ways we can carry the name of Jesus to the world, and the first step of obedience, as we follow the example of Jesus through baptism. It symbolizes that our old self is gone (going under the water) and our new self has come (coming above the water) and that we have been made alive in Christ.

"Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life." Romans 6:4 NASB

• Bring a towel.
• Please select items that are modest when wet, i.e., pants, shorts and a dark shirt.
• Avoid white or thin material.
• Come excited and expectant.
